Mariposa County Covered Bridge! <BR>Yosemite National Park is home to a Covered Bridge built in the 1850's by Galen Clark, the deck and truss, then covered in later years by the Washburn Brothers. The bridge spans the 'Wild and Scenic' South Fork of the Merced River in Wawona and is now used for pedestrian traffic as more modern bridges have been built over time to replace this historic structure.
