Fire! <BR>This photo shows that fire can occur in downtown Mariposa. <BR>The Gold Coin building on the corner of the street looks to be in good condition compared to the dilapidated structure it has become over the years. The Gold Coin is the oldest three story adobe structure in Mariposa County that is now exposed to the elements and may collapse on the back wall as the Trabucco Building collapsed during a wet winter. <BR>Walk to the back of the building, where the adobe with sand for mortar is exposed, then call your Supervisor and ask them what is being done to save this building. <BR> <BR>Thanks to Tom Phillips for the photo
