Snow Capped High Sierra!
Up on the Hites Cove Road, East of Jerseydale, the snow capped mountains of the High Sierra can be seen.
This photo was taken yesterday afternoon as the low angle of the sun brings out the autumn colors of Fall.
Very rugged country with a lot of gulches that the miners
used to walk through in their quest for gold for back in
the mid 1800's.
This property used to be part of Yosemite National Park
until it was downsized years ago.
