A Bonfire in Mariposa! <BR>Mariposa Public Utilities District (MPUD) had a shiny new <BR>firetruck parked near the Mariposa Museum & History Center on Saturday evening December 6, 2008. <BR>They were at the ready in the event that the big bonfire was to get out of control. Thankfully they were not needed and everyone had a grand time. The only other smoke that night besides the bonfire was the smoke that would pour out of the 'Safe House' every once in awhile as they were giving demonstrations on house safety.
