Green Frog,Mariposa Photos,Mariposa 2004

This little green frog tries to blend in with the shadows and
the green algae that has grown in the Merced River outside Yosemite National Park.
As the river flows have dramatically slowed down as the snow melt in the high country must be
about over, the algae with the end of summer heat has really taken over the bottom of the river.
This gives perfect cover for our little friend pictured today.
