Mariposa Storm Clouds,Mariposa Photos,Mariposa 2004

With a slight break in the storm yesterday,
the clouds shown here, hang like a heavy blanket over Mariposa.
With over 7 inches of rain in three days up here (at 3300 feet elevation)
the ground is getting very saturated,
so drive with care looking out for rocks on the road.
With a high not over 53 degrees in three days, the smell of wood heaters is in the air,
as we await winters return with snow.
