The mountains above Bootjack,Mariposa Photos,Mariposa 2004

 Looking into the mountains above Bootjack (located on Highway 49
about five miles south of Mariposa) three ridges can be seen.
The first ridge is at about 3,000 ft, the second ridge at about 5,500 ft
and the last highest ridge at about 7,000 ft.
From this viewpoint the snowline can easily be observed.
