Cheaper by the Dozen! <BR>The chickens are dropping eggs and making the overall cost of the coop, chickens and feed drop dramatically we are told. <BR>This was the first dozen eggs that the chickens laid. Notice the blue tinge to the the eggs. We are also told that the yolks are a deep yellow and taste better than a store bought egg. <BR>(This is another photo in a continuing series of sustainable living in Mariposa County.)
