Mariposa County Merced River Canyon! <BR>The Merced River Canyon on Highway 140 in Mariposa County is just alive with vibrant colors this year. The Red Bud is getting ready to put on it's display of violet/purple colors. <BR>The Poppies are still thriving and all the other Wildflowers are either in bloom or very close to blooming. With warmer weather for Saturday and Sunday in the forecast, Mother Nature's work continues.
