Mariposa County Poppy Filled Hillside! <BR>This photo was taken from the Briceburg Bridge (which is at the bottom of the Briceburg Grade) just off of Highway 140 in Mariposa County before the road turns North and heads up the Merced River Canyon. <BR>As of Friday afternoon the bridge is closed to vehicles as the Bureau of Land Management clears mudslides from the roadway on the other side of the bridge including the Burma Grade. Plenty of Poppies and other Wildflowers are growing downstream of the bridge. <BR>This bridge is not on Highway 140. <BR>Highway 140 is open with a vehicle restriction <BR>of 45 feet maximum
