Good Deeds in Mariposa!
While driving through Mariposa on Thursday, April 16, a group was noticed planting flowers under the corner sign in front of the Mariposa Visitor Center. While the youth were planting flowers the adults supervised all the fun. They were a friendly group of 2 adults and 6 young people. When asked who they were and why they were planting flowers the group said they were from 'Grace Community Christian Church' in Ceres. They were out doing good deeds as a way to share their faith & goodwill. They were enjoying spreading the word of the Lord and said they had been in Angel Camp the day before and paid for dinner for 30 people at the local 'Subway' sandwich shop. Some people asked them, "what their angle was?", to which they were told that "there was no angle", the group was just sharing their faith in the Lord with no strings attached. The group said they prayed with several people and had a great day sharing their fellowship. After putting the finishing touches on the flowers the group would head back home to Ceres.
