Mariposa Butterfly Festival - Butterfly Release! <BR> <BR>On Sunday afternoon another 800-1000 butterflies were released in Mariposa as the Butterfly Festival continued. The rain stayed away as the the Painted Ladies were released. <BR>Over the weekend hundreds of locals and tourists held orange slices as they attracted the butterflies to them with the sweetness of the orange. <BR>In the above photo Kylia Vye with her mother came up for the day from Newman, California to enjoy the Butterfly Festival and said they will definitely be back next year for the 2010 Butterfly Festival.
