Fine Art and Wine Festival in Mariposa!
Saturday May 30, 2009 was a delightful day as the Annual Fine Art and Wine Festival decked out the Courthouse lawn in Mariposa. At the Mount Bullion Winery tasting booth, in the above photo, everyone was all smiles as the overcast skies kept the temperatures down and the wine kept the spirits up.
With thirteen wineries in attendance along with the Mariposa Brewing Company there was quite an assortment of refreshments to sample. There were also over twenty artists around the grounds displaying photographs, paintings, jewelry, baskets, ceramics and fused glass.
The Rotary food menu included their famous 'Courthouse Special', a Tri- Tip Sandwich with cheese and other fixings.
Also a selection of jams and jellies, BBQ sauces, olive oils and toffee was available to sample and purchase from the 'Consumable Art' vendors. The Pacific Vibes Quartet band kept everyone's' toes tapping thought-out the day.
