A Spring Treat!
Discovering the Snow Plant while out on a walk in the forest is a special treat. Finding three growing side by side is a real find. North Fork resident and Photographer, Keith Sauer discovered this treat in the Nelder Grove in Madera County.
If Yosemite's Mariposa Grove of Sequoia's is really crowded with visitors, take a drive to the often very quiet Nelder Grove just a few miles from the South Entrance to Yosemite off of Highway 41.
