Winner at the 4H State Classic Championship show in Watsonville

Mariposa County 4H returned from the Championship Horse show in Watsonville at the Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds last
weekend with many ribbons and a medal.

In the above photo Katy Casner (4H member and teen leader) her horse Scribblin’ Mindy (with ribbons all over her bridle) and Carol Suggs (Mariposa County 4H Horse Project leader) pose for a funny photo after the stress of the day’s classes are over.

Author Message Jerry Username: Jerry Registered: 7-2006 Posted on Wednesday, July 01, 2009 - 6:21 am:    Jocelynn Barrington competed in English Flat classes on Friday and Jumping classes on Sunday. The Tramontin sisters and Katy Casner competed in the Western show on Saturday. Many ribbons and a medal came home for the members. This state show was a great experience for the kids and we would like to thank the community for their support of 4H and our Horse Project as without community support these girls would not had been able to have this experience. Pictured in the photo (L-R): Tara Tramontin, Morgan Tramontin, Carol Suggs (leader), Katy Casner and Jocelynn Barrington All are 4 H project members and teen leaders with the Mariposa County Horse Project.
