Launch of the Sierra Geotourism Council’s Website and MapGuide Project in Mariposa, California <BR> <BR>On a warm Wednesday morning the Mariposa Museum and History Center hosted the launch of the Sierra Geotourism Council’s Website and MapGuide Project. This is a new National Geographic MapGuide that will Highlight the Sierra Nevada Region. <BR> <BR>In the above photo (L-R) Bob Kingman, Sierra Nevada Conservancy Mount Lassen Area Manager, Nicole DeJonghe, Sierra Business Council, James Dion, Associate Director of National Geographic’s Center for Sustainable Destinations, Bradley Cleveland, Sierra Business Council and Kim Carr, Sierra Nevada Conservancy Mount Whitney Area Manager (Partially hidden by sign).
