El Colibrí <BR> This fabulous capture of a hummingbird in motion by Mariposa resident Jo West is just one of the many types of hummingbirds that are in Mariposa County. Some stay during the Winter months while the others head South, way South. There are so many hummingbirds in the county that if it was hummingbirds instead of butterfly's that caught the eye of one of Gabriel Moraga's explorers, Mariposa would be called El Colibrí. <BR>Thanks for the photo Jo
