The Good Old Days in Mariposa, California <BR> <BR>This photo is looking North from Highway 140 entering Mariposa where Highway 49 South merges onto the 140. <BR>In the photo a man with a tire can be seen at the service station. The Old Jail is in the middle top, the rightmost sign on the building proclaims Cedar Point Ranch with an arrow pointing towards Oakhurst. Also the highway sign has Wawona at 38 miles. In front of the Motel is some sort of a round structure that was used for something or other. Maybe the first Visitors Center in Mariposa. <BR> <BR>Thanks to Tom Phillips for the photo

The round structure was a Big Orange
That sold OJ and Hamburgers
