Tarantula <BR> <BR>North Fork resident and photographer Keith Sauer got up close and personal with this arachnid the other day. This is the time of year that they migrate around the foothills of California looking for a mate. <BR> <BR>This Saturday in Coarsegold there is the <BR>Annual Tarantula Festival; <BR>Tartantula Festival <BR> <BR>Years ago folks thought that the bite of this spider would cause 'Tarantism' which is the uncontrollable urge to dance. <BR>Must have began in the 50's with that Elvis feller!
