Dia de Los Muertos in Hornitos, California <BR> <BR>The annual Day of the Dead procession from the town square up to the cemetery at Saint Catherine's Church on the hill was held on Monday November 2, 2009. Around 300-350 participants were on hand for the event that had the candle lighting, the walk up to the cemetery led by Rev. Stephen  Bulfer of Saint Joseph Church in Mariposa, California and then prayers over Dona Candelaria's grave. <BR>The evening began with Johnathan Bock from Stellar Gallery in Oakhurst, California hosting an art exhibit celebrating the Dia de los Muertos featuring many area artists that had their works housed in the old Pacific Saloon.
