Mariposite <BR> <BR>Teddy B. sends in this photo of an outcropping of Mariposite somewhere in Mariposa County. The green color in Mariposite is Chromium and the white color is Quartz. The fascinating thing with Mariposite is that gold is associated with it. Where you find Mariposite (which was named after Mariposa County) you may find gold.
