Congratulations to Brent Gilstrap who captured this fabulous scene in early August 2009 as the sun was setting over Saddlebag Lake. This lake is located just East of Yosemite National Park.
As we looked back over the photos that were sent to the Sierra Sun Times/Goldrushcam.com during 2009 it soon became apparent that this was going to be a hard task as there were a lot of great photos that were Emailed to us. One of the elements of Photography is just like they say about real estate: location, location, location. Other factors that comes into play are light and composition.
