PG&E in Fish Camp, California
Photographer Keith Sauer captured this image yesterday in Fish Camp, California as PG&E is still working hard at restoring power to the area after a winter storm downed many power lines. Keith mentioned that some of the PG&E workers are transported to the damaged areas by helicopters as they dangle on a line under the helicopter with snow shoes attached to their feet. Many trees fell over because of the weight of the snow and windy conditions. PG&E is busy with chain saws clearing the trees away from the power lines and installing new poles.
