White And Blue Lupine Growing In Maripsoa County,Mariposa Photos,Mariposa 2005

Two days ago while waiting for the rafters in the
Merced River Canyon, this lupine with
the afternoon sun shining on it,
spotted my attention
and begged to have a picture taken !

The wilflowers are blooming very good right now. A trip is being planned to Hites Cove to view the wildflowers, about a seven mile round trip walking.If you go, do it before the weather gets hot,bring water,good shoes, a walking stick, sun block, water, light snacks, a camera of course, a hat and finally water.

Grandpa Doug is missing in the Ponderosa Basin area.He apparently was somewhere up at the Summit Camp and got stuck in the snow. His car was on fire.This happened last night (Thursday Night).
Say a little prayer for Grandpa Doug for his safe return.

Good Morning, grizzy,the lupine was bending toward me and wiggling or maybe it was just the wind,ha-ha.
