An Ephemeral Watefall In Yosemite, Yosemite Photos,Yosemite 2005

This photo from two days ago at the 140 entrance
to Yosemite National Park, shows an ephemeral waterfall
looking like an all year waterfall due to snowmelt
and an overnight rain.

Hey Grizzy, there is a lady at the MidPines Store that was in that same flood in Yosemite that you talked about yesterday. Forgot her name but you must know her. And with your plants, put them in raised beds and forget all about gopher problems and then worry about hungry deer. We had a bear up here drag my garbage can all over the place but could not open it. Must not have been one of those Yosemite Valley bears. Now the garbage cans are in the garage, lets see then get in there.
No,on second thought I do not need a tore up garage.Have a good day today.

thanks for the note on the midpines store. i'm sure i would know her - i'll have to go in and check.

about the plants, some of them are in raised beds. i use old pickup truck beds when i can find them. i don't worry about deer. we have a six-foot fence with strips of aluminum that flash light and clatter in the wind; but we're not TOO confident about bear. we had one come into the back porch, tearing up the screen doors in the process, to get to the can we keep dogfood in.
