Mr.Radonovich gave a very good talk on Sunday about the early days of mining in Mariposa County. Along with side notes on the history of the county.In attendance and listening fervently were members of the Mariposa Gem and Mineral Club hoping to glean information on where to look for gold in the county. Hopefully he can come and speak to our club at one of our future meetings. So if you missed the talk, just hold on awhile, and look for the announcement when he will address our club with his knowledge of the area.

What a gorgeous weekend it was, with the temperatures dropping back to a very comfortable level. Even the flood watch at Yosemite was suspended. The Goldrushcam crew is getting ready for a trip to Sonora Pass in a few days, so get ready for some snow photos !
