Looking Toward Flange Rock From Highway 108, Sonora Photos,Sonora 2005

Marker About Flange Rock, Sonora Photos,Sonora 2005

Underneath the red dot in the top photo is
East Flange Rock. It was an important landmark
for the western travelers of the 1800's.
They looked for these important outcroppings
to assure them they were still on the correct path.
This photo is from Highway 108, a few miles
West from Sonora Pass.

Morning Betty, while you travel over Stevens Bar Bridge, just keep on going up to Sonora Pass, you will like it I am sure. Hey just maybe you will need a tour guide, hint, hint. Stories galore all over there !

By the way, the local paper shipped out our special edition of 150 years. Wait till you see what eighteen dollars bought us. It was included with the regular paper like an insert. Just a few pages all told. Nothing like we were led to believe on how special this edition was going to be. I am going in there today for a refund of my money and will put that toward the new book by
Mr. Radanovich !
