The rain yesterday will only give moisture to all the growth we have to mow, cut, trim, destroy,etc.
As the temps heat up, you can almost see the weeds grow if you look long enough at them. As CDF in the future starts to enforce a 100 ft. clearance instead of the now 30 ft. clearance, weed wackers are going to be a high demand job in the foothill area. Maybe time to invest in Echo! |

no, it's time to invest in a teenage kid to cut the weeds!
we had heard about the 100' clearance, but thought it was just a wild-hair idea of our local ranger.
but they can order any clearance they want. and it won't do any good unless it's enforced. we have NEVER in 37 years had anyone come by to see if we are compliant. |
