Wow, some places will see a high today of 108!! And who could not wait for summer? Here is a link for water evaporators: http://www.consumerenergycenter.org/homeandwork/homes/inside/heatandcool/evaporative_coolers.html There is a chart on that page that really explains the relationship betweem outside air along with humidity and how that affects inside temperatures of the house. In a nutshell, the drier the air outside the cooler the house will be inside. I have tracked the chart for a few weeks now, and it is real close to what I have observed at our elevation. You can track the humidity at our elevation by going over to the weather page, but remember it is like rain, it can vary according to where you are. |

another great picture! but i'll bet that water is COLD. i remember once i fell into the merced river. i was just a kid, but i still remember that i stopped breathing for what seemed like minutes (probably seconds) and i felt that my heart had stopped, too. i had been sitting on a tree branch, and just fell off. did i drown? well, no, i got out. |
