Well it finally happened, we went over the 100 degree mark up here at 3300 ft elevation. We are into a heat wave with no let up in sight. The low last night was right at 80. yes it is a dry heat but it is still hot.
Today is a gold dredging day !
A good day to be in the water keeping cool and maybe finding some treasure!
Be sure to check back tomorrow, hopefully for some gold nugget photos.

well, jerry, you have to get yourself a tree identification book as well as a wildflower book. what kind of a pine is that? "thick skinned" is not enough for us nature-lovers!

i hope you got a nugget or two, and i hope you didn't sunburn yourself to a crisp.

and did you ever pick up that valley views from dave harris?
