Well it finally happened, we went over the 100 degree mark up here at 3300 ft elevation. We are into a heat wave with no let up in sight.The low last night was right at 80. yes it is a dry heat but it is still hot. Today is a gold dredging day ! A good day to be in the water keeping cool and maybe finding some treasure! Be sure to check back tomorrow, hopefully for some gold nugget photos. |

well, jerry, you have to get yourself a tree identification book as well as a wildflower book. what kind of a pine is that? "thick skinned" is not enough for us nature-lovers! i hope you got a nugget or two, and i hope you didn't sunburn yourself to a crisp. and did you ever pick up that valley views from dave harris? |
