Hey Grizzy, hope you are okay? Did not realize gardens could be so dangerous ! You have one more good day of weather for outside work and then it looks like we are back in the furnace again. Take care. |

Morning Mr. Bruce Smith, Do you have any more storys you can share with us? Yes, there are quite a few quartz crystals up here. The biggest one I have seen must be about two feet long and 50 lbs in weight that came from one of the famous old time mines in the Sherlock District. I have been on quite a few quartz hunting expeditions. Do you remember finding any arrowheads on your journey with the goats. I have heard they can be found in the Usona area. Have a great day ! |

two things - quartz in the sherlock area, huh? we live in the sherlock area! and the old rock wall at our house has lots of small crystals embedded in it. i'd like to find the source. but i imagine whoever built the wall is dead by now. and that's a really cute frog. i just read this morning that frogs have teeth. toads don't. i found a toad a couple days ago, and while i was holding him (no warts yet) he made little peeping noises. he felt like a little leather bag full of stuff that kind of slushed around. i don't see how anyone could ever hurt one. he lives near a hose bib in the garden, and i keep a constant drip going there. hope he likes it! |
