Signal Peak sitting at an elevation of 7000 ft. gives a good indication of the snow line in the winter months, It can be seen from all over Mariposa County. Behind Signal Peak if you are in certain locations in the county, some of the peaks in Yosemite can be seen !
What does it look like from Signal Peak back down into Mariposa ?

Hey Grizzy, the 'Mountain Lice' attach to everything. I have a friend who says he will just wear the same clothes when he goes outside to weed whack and then just throw them away at the end of the year instead of trying to wash them as they are so full of the pickers !!
Yes you are right about spoofing.
A good thing to remember about that is to always look in the address bar for the name od the site.
If it just lists an I.P. address such as 123.456.789 do not trust the site.
E-Bay fakers are good for that. |

and that's good advice about the clothes.
so, can you see signal peak from your house?
that would be a good job for someone who liked to be by himself (or herself - i know a woman who used to do that, when it was funded). |
