Author Message Jerry,Goldrushcam Photographer Posted on Friday, August 05, 2005 - 8:00 am:    Wow! Friday already! Music in the park tonight as Mariposa Arts in the Park continues. This has been a year up here for cicadas and katydids. I have never heard so many in my life it seems. Daytime, Nighttime all the time, they just sing(?) all the time. Lots of dragonflies also, flying hither and there, kind of in time with the cicadas. When I was young they called dragonflies, sewing needles and they would sew up your mouth if they could. Just maybe they told me that to shut me up! Amazing the things that stick in your mind and other things that you should remember you can't.
