Well the Goldrushcam Crew Goldiggers were skunked yet again yesterday, as the creek we were supposed to dredge was all dried up until the winter rains come again. So we dug and dug down to the bedrock and have brought home a lot of the gray sticky mud that traps the gold particles, that we will process a little later on. First it will be broken up by hand then put through a few smaller and smaller classifiers, then finally spun through a blue bowl leaving only the gold in the bottom of the bowl. |

TOUGH! i was looking forward to you showing us pictures of nuggets. the creek that runs past our house is all gone, too. i hate to see it go, but it has a very small drainage area, and it dries up almost as soon as the rains stop. but WOW do i like it when it's running! |
