This is it, head out to Hornitos today and have some fun, and also check out this historical Mason building. It is a rare day when this building is open to the public!!
In Hornitos today is
where they will have the annual pancake breakfast and flea market.It starts at 6:00 AM with the breakfast being served followed by the flea market.
The money from the breakfast helps to restore the old Masonic Lodge in Hornitos. During the day, the 149 year old lodge will be open to the public.
How to get there?
From Mariposa,
Take 49 North to Bear Valley Rd. and hang a left.
From the 140 in Catheys Valley look for the road sign.
From Sonora, take 49 South to Bear Valley Rd. and hang a right.
From all other places E- mail for directions. |

you're right - we were way ahead of you. i looked around but no jerry!
but it was a perfect flea market day. a LITTLE bit cool, but that was better than the heat we have some years.
