We met Keith last week on the Sierra Art Trails at his house in North Fork. He is a very friendly person who has a passion for photography and hiking in the Sierra.
Hopefully Keith will send us more photos of his work that we can post for everyone to see

Sonora, CA -- The Forest Service is inviting the public to celebrate it's Centennial event Saturday at the Mother Lode Fairgrounds in Sonora.
It is free and starts at ten in the morning.

The Goldrushcam Crew was on the Cemetery Tour in Mariposa last year with Tom Philips and his helpers. Very interesting and informative if you have never been on the tour.
Hopefully we will be at the Wassama Roundhouse Gathering Days over in Ahwahnee on Saturday to learn a little more about the Indian Culture.

There is a old Beatle song that is very appropriate for today at the Goldrushcam.
The lyrics were something like "you say its your birthday, well its my birthday too, yah"

Good morning Grizzy, take your winter coat if you venture out today !!
Better get that garden ready for winter as a change is in the air.
The photo of that gold laden stream that still has running water in it cannot be revealed.
I can take you over there but you must be blindfolded and spun around a few times.
You know how fussy old goldminers are about their location.

oh i know you'd never tell where the stream is - i was just pulling your goldminer's chain!
however, since it's your birthday, i'll tell you a secret (by email, since it really IS a secret).
