This baby (five month old) Alpaca was the hit
of the 2005 Oakhurst Fall Festival among
the young and old. Lucky he had his
mom with him for protection.

Cortland and Nancy Johnson have about thirty Alpacas running aroud their ranch in the Oakhurst area. The animals are sheered in May and then the Johnson's take the fleece and make hats and other items.
