Sitting on top of Sentinel Dome, a view of 360 degrees can be seen.
From the Coast Range to the high country of Yosemite with all the rugged mountain ranges in view.
Half Dome,El Capitan,Mt Lyell,Yosemite Falls,
North Dome, Clouds Rest and many other of the landmarks that make Yosemite known around the world can be seen from up here.
In fact you are higher than Half Dome, making me now rethink climbing Half Dome.This is a lot easier hike indeed. :-)

i'll tell you what's discouraging, and that's the layer of haze, smoke, smog, or whatever it is.

but apart from that, great views.
