Mariposa County Courthouse On A November Morning,Mariposa Photos,Mariposa 2005

The Mariposa County Courthouse on
a early November morning has a
peaceful solitude about it as it stands
quietly waiting for another day of
justice to prevail within its walls.

Late posting for today due to unforseen circumstances at the Goldrushcam.
But I was in town early for a blood test and to pay the house taxes, kind of go together right?
Anyway, as I was driving by the courthouse and looked at the building in the morning light, I thought how grand the building stood in the soft light of the morning. So here is a photo of the courthouse in that early light.

Almost 76 degrees outside right now as November is teasing us for today. But what a gorgeous day to drive around and look at the colors of the trees,as they know winter is right around the corner.

Afternoon Grizzy, you said in the photo from yesterday you did not have any trick or treaters at your house, well one look at that long drive way and the time of night involved and not knowing what could be at the end of that driveway, I think the little ones scream and run away looking for safer havens.
Anyway do not eat all that candy that is leftover at once you might get chubby,in fact I will come over and get some from you. :-)

Okay, remember tomorrow to not miss this:

Annual Hornitos Candle Lighting Ceremony
St. Catherine’s Church, Hornitos

All Souls’ Day. A traditional candle lighting ceremony to honor the souls of the dead. Join in a candlelit procession (bring your own candle and flashlight) from the town square to the St. Catherine’s Church for a special service, 6 p.m. followed by Mass.
St. Joseph’s Catholic Church (209) 966-2522 or
Hornitos Patrons Club (209) 376-2341

I have just one question on this since I missed this last year.
What kind of candle to bring ?
