What a perfect weekend in the forecast to get out and explore. Yosemite is where the Goldrushcam Crew can be found today. Probably up on the Glacier Point Rd. What else to do? Click here for the list from yesterday: http://www.goldrushcam.com/discus/messages/735/750.html?1131733584 If you have not been to the cinema in Mariposa, why not tonight to see: FRIDAY NOVEMBER 11 & SATURDAY NOVEMBER 12 — 7:30 p.m. WORLD CINEMA Melinda and Melinda $3 members • $7 non-members • 100 minutes Is life a comedy or tragedy? In this, his 35th film, Woody Allen takes one character, Melinda, introduced in the same situation ? she crashes a tony Manhattan dinner party after a bad breakup ? and spins two different destinies, one comedic and the other dramatic, in interwoven segments. Starring an excellent Radha Mitchell (High Art) in the dual role of Melinda, along with Will Farrell, trying to out-Allen Allen, and the always stellar Chloe Sevigny, the film explores Allen's familiar themes of love, adultery, and need in New York. Rated PG-13. Where is it at? Sixth Street Cinema is located upstairs in the Old Masonic Lodge (the white two-story building) at 4994 6th Street just off Highway 140, in historic downtown Mariposa. Parking is free, and it's a short walk to restaurants and shops.
