Great moon shot. What lens was used? By the way, a great local hike right now is to Chilnualna Falls out of Wawona. The black oaks are a bright yellow and the huge potholes would make for great swimming if you don't mind cold water. We saw fresh bear scat. |

Afternoon Keith, Thanks for the comment on the moon photo. The lens used was a Canon 100-400L IS, Set at 400mm with image stablization turned and on hand held ! I really like this lens a lot. Maybe I will try that hike, but first I have to look it up to see how far it is and I realllyyyy am not to crazy about meeting up with a bear as I like my Snickers in my pocket and would not like to share it with Mr. Bear. I bet around the campfire you could tell a good bear story or two. Have a great day,Keith. |

Have you bought your Christmas presents yet? I did not think so. We have put up a new page with books you can buy for the holidays or anytime. Most of these books have been read by the staff at the Goldrushcam. They are the top of the line and will make you quite happy. More will be added as we have time. Some older books that are not in print or widely available will soon be offered. Click here to see the books: http://goldrushcam.com/goldrushcam_books.htm Also there are calendars and holiday cards
