The View From Tunnel View In Yosemite On A Mid November Sunset,Yosemite Photos,Yosemite 2005

Can you make a trip to Yosemite without going
up to Tunnel View to see the Yosemite Valley?
I do not think so!
This was taken just as the sun was almost setting.
Compare Clouds Rest and Half Dome in the back
of the photo to the photo from yesterday for
a completely different viewpoint.

The photo for today was taken with a 24-70mm L Canon lens set at 1/100, f 2.8, with 42mm of zoom. This photo and the one from yesterday were taken on the same day about maybe two hours apart.
This view from Tunnel View is propbably the most photographed view in the park. Also made very famous when Ansel Adams took a photo from up here.

The park service has started a program called red bear dead bear. Along the Tioga Rd. these signs are posted where several bear have been hit by speeding cars. Here is a photo of the sign:

They say people in California are pretty liberal.

This is called reading inbetween the lines :-)
