With Highway 120 closed through Yosemite,
this scene of Tioga Lake, taken in mid November
will not look like this again until May or June
2006. The only ones who will see it all buried
in snow will be maybe some winter hikers and
then Cal- Trans in the Spring when they
start clearing the road.

Just way too many things to do along with obligations. All the Goldrushcam Crew members are tired and shopped out ! Was it worth it ? What a beautiful time of year to look forward to. Stepping on the frozen lawn, feeling and hearing the crunch of the cold blades of grass beneath your shoes, your breath leaving visible trails in the chilly night air,the quietness of the night as all the summer sounds of singing winged creatures has gone away for another year.
