The area is all red this time of year as the Christmas Berries come into full bloom. The lower branches are usually bare as the coyotes seem to have an affinity for the berries!! To read more about Toyon here is a link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toyon |

Good Morning Grizzy, Good to hear from you. Yes we get mad at PG&E, but they come in handy. I like the workers, and the payment center also, it is the corporation I do not like. Huge bonus to the upper management during a crisis. Maybe the most expensive electricity in the United States. Now they want to close the call centers but the bonus keeps on rolling to upper management. You get the picture I am sure. |

Nice toyon berry shot. Later in the year when they ferment, birds will get drunk on them and crash into our kitchen window. No AA for them, though. Everyone is welcome to the North Fork Christmas Bazaar tomorrow (Saturday) at North Fork's version of the Taj Mahal, the Town Hall. I'll be in booth 1 with photos and T shirts. |

Keith is a great photographer, make a point to get over to North Fork and see his work. The weather should be nice, get in the car and go for a nice ride over to North Fork. And after seeing Keith, ask him or some other local resident on how to get to the exact middle of California,it is somewhere real close to North Fork ! |

great calendar of events, and it's good to hear from keith. north fork sounds like fun, but we're busy this weekend. and i love those berries. we always know when a coyote has been around - he leaves used berries behind. |
