Curry Village Ice Rink In The Shadow Of Half Dome,Yosemite Photos,Yosemite 2004

The Curry Village Ice Rink is open for the season !
With Half Dome watching silently over you,
the sound of your skates gliding over the ice,
warming your back next to the crackling fire,
hot cocoa in your hand, the smell of
pine trees, Yosemite in the Winter.

Morning Grizzy, you are always up so early.
Yes nature can be fast and brutal to animals, but that fits into the survival of the fittest and quickest and smartest !!
Last year we had a small fox in the yard, with damage to the back half of his body from some other bigger animal. We saw him for a few days and then never again. The staff at the Goldrushcam like to think he survived and is still out there today living life.
Have a great Sunday !

What to do?
Check out the Friday post here:

The Winter bird feeder is up with bird tracking enabled on the camera.
Meaning if the camera sees a bird, it should zoom in on it nice and close. Hopefully !
But with everything high-tech it might have a few bugs in it :-)
