After the rain we have had here today in Mariposa,
Half Dome in Yosemite National Park must
have more snow on it now than this photo from
last year on December 10 shows.

Just a nice all day soaking rain. Looking at the live cams in Yosemite, it looks like Badger Pass should open up by this weekend coming up or before. Dodge Ridge will open this Tuesday ! Rain is in the forecast this week, starting about Wednesday. Let it snow ! Let it snow ! let it snow ! If you still can, see it at a theater. I do not know if the Sixth Street Cinema in Mariposa has shown the movie yet. After seeing the movie, buy a poster of these penguins and hang it somewhere you can see it everyday. Your life will be better for it. I salute the Mother and Father Emperor Penguins
