This photo taken two days ago, was shot from high up
on the Bagby Grade looking North toward Coulterville.
The river in the photo is the Merced River just before
it enters Lake McClure.

Author Message Jerry,Goldrushcam Photographer Posted on Thursday, December 22, 2005 - 7:46 am:    Wow, last night started with a flash and then a boom as winter really announced its arrival ! Then the rain started and it poured for a brief period of time. The Goldrushcam Weather Station was recording over four inches and hour if the rain kept up. But it slowed down as abruptly as it had started, leaving our rain gauge with .28 inches of rain before midnight. Some locations reported having hail also with the heavy rain. We could have some more rain showers again today.
