After The Rain Bootjack Reappears Again Like Magic,Mariposa Photos,Mariposa 2005

As the rain yesterday tapered off, Bootjack
1,500 feet below us reappeared like magic !

So far this month we have had 13 days with measureable rain giving us over 8 inches of water.
No snow flurries yet, but we are waiting patiently. Has not really been a very cold month as the wood stove has even been turned off for a few days at a time. After today the rest of the week is looking very rain filled, but still not very cold. Maybe we will have to wait until 2006 until we see some snow or flurries at out elevation.
