Good Morning Mr. Butler, sorry for not answering your post earlier but better late than never we say Yes the train looks ready to roll, I am trying to find out who did such a great paint job. To find the train head East on the 140 into the Merced River Canyon, eventually you will see a sign that says El Portal to your left. You cross over the Merced River and drive to the intersection and the train is right in front of you. If you look to the right, the building across the street is still in use today that also was used by the railroad ! Check out the book about this old railroad here: http://goldrushcam.com/goldrushcam_books.htm It is called Trains to Yosemite, a very good book. Have a great morning. |

Good morning Richard, the links to the cameras can be found in two places. (1) If you scroll down the homepage to the very bottom a link is there. I put that there for the curious people who like to see what is at the bottom of the page ! (2) Go into the Directory and on the left hand side under Entertainment is the other link for the cameras. They have been having their problems with the Yosemite cameras for the past few weeks it seems. By the way check out the Mt.Wilson camera. The photo is sometimes very stunning. Maybe one day the Goldrushcam will have a camera like that ! Here is a quikie link for you to the cameras http://www.goldrushcam.com/goldrushcam__web_cameras.htm Talk to you again Richard. |
