Looking Down On The Fog Over Mariposa At Sunrise,Mariposa Photos,Mariposa 2006

The morning fog dips and dives reaching into the lowlands
of Mariposa County.
This photo was taken this morning just as the sun
was rising over the mountain tops and then casting
a warm glow on the constantly moving clouds.

What a gorgeous morning over the land. Bright sunshine, not too cold, deer in the yard, birds at the feeder, a good day to be outside !

What happened to NOAA yesterday ?
I had the hatches all battened(?) down and the strongest gust we had was 9 mph !
That is quite all right with me though, because I really do not like too much wind. And if you could see the huge Ponderosa Pine tree behind the Goldrushcam Headquarters you would know why !!!

What happened to Denver ?
I guess the Steelers were just the hungrier team yesterday.
I hope nobody lost too much money, anyway they say better luck next time !
Okay now I change my pick for Super Bowl Winner to the Steelers bacause I like Jerome's mom !

Little known fact: If you would like to save the photo of the day as your background photo on your computer, just right click with your mouse and scroll down to: set as background and click.
Pretty easy and makes your computer look nice :-)
The above was for Internet Explorer.

For Netscape users: right click and scroll to: set as wallpaper, click your mouse and Voila! your wallpaper has been changed.

Firefox users just follow along with the Netscape instructions !
